Lafeber Bird

Lafeber Sunny Orchard Parrot Nutri-Berries 10oz

$11.99

Sunny Orchard Nutri-Berries combine fresh ingredients, hulled seeds, and essential vitamins and minerals rolled together to offer all the nutrition of pellets, plus all the benefits and fun of foraging. Instead of grinding down the ingredients into a pelleted form, the ingredients in Sunny Orchard Nutri-Berries are left mostly whole to give your bird the flavors and textures pelleted diets lack. And, unlike vitamin- and mineral-fortified seed mixes that lose their health benefits once the bird cracks open the seed, Nutri-Berries are made with hulled seeds and grains; each berrie is then coated with essential vitamins and minerals to ensure that your bird receives balanced nutrition in each bite.

As a treat: depending on the bird and amount of food the bird receives daily, you could feed up to 12 berries in one day.

As a diet: you will need to give time for transitioning. Slowly add in portions of berries in your pets diet while simultaneously feeding less of the old food. Weighing your bird on a scale is recommended during this time. If the bird loses 10% of body weight then it is recommended to continue feeding the previous bird food to ensure your pet stays at a healthy weight. Remember that 20% of your birds diet should consist of fresh fruits and vegetables.
